Aidan is REALLY into emulating Brandon lately. He climbs into his shoes and puts on any of Brandon’s clothing and accessories he can get his hands on. Belts, shorts, work jackets, baseball hats, sunglasses, etc.
Most mornings now when Brandon is getting ready for work Aidan will go running into the bathroom and tell Brandon, “Want hair like Daddy’s!” That is Brandon’s cue to wet Aidan’s hair down and put in some gel.

Lori, he is the spitting image of his daddy!! I’m so sorry to hear he’s been so sick. Its tough but I’m very glad to hear you’re handling it well. You’re further along than I was when Benji was that age. In fact, it’s just been in the past year (he’s 7 now!!) that I can hear him do a little cough and my heart doesn’t just sink with fear that its pneumonia or something else to get us a quick hospital admission.

I was just thinking about this wanting to be like Dad. At some point he may want to compete with Dad. My boy is very much into besting the old man these days and he was very into being just like him when he was Aidans age,. He is 9 now so you got some time.
