The laugh is priceless. There are fewer things more honest and pure than Aidan's laugh.

So, so true...Never in a million years did I think I was going to own a dozen Sesame Street Videos or have a child whose first words were "Big Bird" and "diaper" (by which she means Elmo, also, since he's on her diapers). And you know what, who cares? Sesame Street not only helps Hallie eat, but if it's helping her talk, I'm all for it.

Sounds like you handled that well. I went to a candle party and had WAY too much to drink (3 glasses of wine in an hour! eek!) and there were 2 pregnant ladies there and we got talking pregnancy and in my 'less than sober' state I started ranting about prematurity.

I won't be invited to that persons house again... supposedly I scared the pregnant ladies.

I've learned that my feelings on pregnancy are not 'normal' and I have to keep that in mind when I talk to people about it or garner the backlash from it. Of course, it makes me feel even more like 'the ugly duckling' in a flock of swans.
