This kid is getting more and more daring. I left the room for not even 2 minutes to use the bathroom and I came back to this.
So cute and getting so sure of himself in his body and trying new things. Like climbing up onto things not anchored to the wall…yeah, gotta fix that one.
And this picture is bittersweet. Aidan turns 3 in less than 2 weeks. (He is almost 36 months actual and 33 months if you adjust for his prematurity) But does the picture below look like a 3 year old? DH and I were blown away when I downloaded these from the camera last night. My husband said, “Geez, where did our toddler go? He looks at least 4 in that picture!”
I love you Aidan. You are my daily reminder that life is miraculous and wonderful in ways I could never have imagined before you.

Lil Daredevil you have there huh? Kellar is quite the daredevil also, except for he would find a way to fall off the front or something. Aidan does look like such a *big boy*, isn’t it weird how overnight their looks seem to change so much?
You have yourself a climber. My little girl was a climber. They actually have to be pretty creative to get to the heights they can get to.
I remember being sad when I noticed my baby girl was growning up. I cried actually. However, the second one I was not so sentimental. Perhaps it is due to my sister having little ones. So I have plenty of small children around.
He sure isn’t a baby anymore! He’s a full-fledged monkey boy now! My monkey likes to use my kitchen drawer handles as steps to get up on the counter and walk along the counters, hopping OVER the sink and giving me a heart attack. One slip and his head will hit against some HARD granite, or worse, ceramic tile on the floor!! Scares me to death. These boys will sure keep us on our toes. Unlike my little girl who FOLLOWS me to the bathroom and sticks her lil fingers under the door asking to be let in.
